These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Awesome Moving website and the moving services we provide. By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking a move with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Our Services
Awesome Moving is a licensed moving company based in Linden, New Jersey, providing local and long-distance moving, packing, loading and unloading, storage, and specialty moving services. We operate under a New Jersey DOT intrastate license and our own USDOT interstate authority. We provide services with our own crew and trucks and do not subcontract your move to third parties.
Quotes and Estimates
Quotes we provide are based on the information you give us about your move, including home size, inventory, access, and distance. We provide flat-rate written estimates, and for long-distance moves we provide binding written quotes. If the actual scope of your move differs materially from what was described — for example, significantly more items, additional stops, or access conditions not disclosed — the price may be adjusted, and we will discuss any change with you before proceeding.
Booking and Scheduling
Your move is confirmed once we have agreed on a date and the details of your job. We ask that you provide accurate information and reasonable notice for any changes. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make the time and crew available to other customers.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of your move unless otherwise stated in your written quote. We accept major credit cards, debit, and other standard payment methods. The terms for long-distance moves are set out in your binding written quote.
Liability and Claims
We handle your belongings with care and carry $1 million in cargo coverage on every move, along with the basic carrier liability coverage required by law. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, you may file a claim with us, and we will address it promptly. Additional valuation coverage may be available — ask us when booking.
Limitation of Liability
Except as required by applicable law and the coverage described above, Awesome Moving is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the coverage applicable to your move.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time you book governs your move.
